Hi! I'll be happy to tell you what I like about your item's content and what emotion it evokes in me. If I see an area or two that need attention by way of improvement, I'll make suggestions for you. I will try to word my reviews in such a way that might garner you more views for the item when seen on the public reviewing page and here, in my reviewing forum. I will always do my best to carry on the Simply Positive motto. |
| I will give an honest opinion of how I feel about the story and what I think works and doesn't work. I'll remark on everything good that I see and I'll try to find at least one or two things the author can improve on. |
| I attempt a well-rounded review where I look at the item from a writer's and reader's perspective. I'll tell you what I liked and what I think could be strengthened. I like to think I'm a courteous and helpful reviewer. |

(minimum 2,500 GPs) | Honest and fun-filled! The price is so high because I'm a bit too honest and I need the GP's for a Anti-Bullying group. Don't want to pay that much but want my review? Shoot me an email with the item with 10 GP's. |
I will give the kind of review that I wish people gave me: rather detailed with emphasis on areas that need growth and areas that are pretty good already. And I'll review pretty much anything, whether a poem or an entire novel or anything in between. Admittedly, though, I do tend to be absent-minded, so it does happen that you might have to resend me the review request, but I promise I'll get around to it eventually.
Alternatively, if you ask, I can give you a scathing review with no fluff, if that is what you desire. However, in general, I'll give a polite, padded review.
If you're looking for a reviewer for your novel, I am open to doing chapter by chapter reviews. If that's what you want, please email me. |
| I’m not a technical reviewer but I will sometimes make suggestions or recommendations for improvements.
I typically judge by the content of the piece. |
| Brutally honest, but fair. I will give my impressions of the main points: Plot, character, setting, dialog.
Then I will get into grammar, spelling, and typos.
I will tell you what works, and what doesn't.
As far as the star ratings go, I don't rely on them too much, but use them as a measure of an item's relative merit. Take it for what it's worth. Bottom line, my goal is to help the author improve their work. |
| Direct, Concise, Professional, and Neutral. |
| I like to give friendly advice that I hope will help, not harm. |
| I like a review that makes me edit, even if it bothers me or offends me. So I look at your piece with, "What would I change to make this better and why?" And I write down most of what I think... the limit being how much you paid, more than how much you can handle!
And of course there's no guarantee that my advice won't make it worse. Well, except the long list of bestseller credits-- oh, I haven't published them yet.
But feel free to request a refund if I really like your piece. It's happened, sometimes I'm in too good of a mood and I think your work is perfect. If it was, you'd be submitting it for a royalty advance... praise is nice but it's like Chinese food, you need more in an hour. Whereas critique sticks to your ribs... |
| As a reviewer of your work, I will first look for identification in what you are presenting. When a reader can truly identify with the writer, emotion sets in and the story becomes a part of the reader as well as the writer. |
| Blunt. I don't review often, mostly because people tend to not like how honest I tend to be. I will tell you things like, "Your main character is a blank slate, I can't convince myself to care about him." Or "I have no idea what that even was, I would suggest an entire rewrite."
Side note: If you write fiction, I like a character driven story. Make me care about your characters, and I'll follow their story wherever it goes. |

(minimum 1,000 GPs) | I am honest, but kind and encouraging. I will offer ideas if something strikes me. |
| I try to find the WOW-factor in your writing. No in-depth analysis, just my thoughts.

| Im happy to review most things, if it holds my interest though I will be less sloppy and more engaged. |
| My goal is to give a detailed, organized review that highlights the positive characteristics of the work, while also touching on any areas that might benefit from some editing. All of my reviews are, of course, just suggestions and meant to be helpful to the author. I am always available via WDC email if more input is needed on any aspect of the review. |
| The purpose of my reviews is to give honest, unbiased feedback in hopes that you can take something away from it that will improve your writing. As such, they will be brutally honest, but I'm just as honest and forth giving with positive feedback and praise! I don't sugarcoat, but I'm not unkind. However, if you're here to have someone tell you that it's great and nice without giving you any actual criticisms, this isn't where you want to be. Constructive Criticism is the name of the game! Note: I don't just review, I will edit and/or provide suggestions as well upon request (or if you don't specify that you don't want edits). |
| I tend to be constructive, though I've been known to be a bit too nice...at least, in my opinion. note that while I'll review anything requested, they can be a bit sloppy if I don't take interest. |
